Alte Kalchbühlstrasse

Alte Kalchbühlstrasse goes from Albisstrasse and formally ends in a dead end (but there's a pedestrian access to Kalchbühlstrasse.) It is named after the word Kalchbühl, that is a small hill (Bühl) where limestone (Kalch) would be quarried and calcinated.

Alte Kalchbühlstrasse street sign: a blue sign on a grey pole, with a "dead end except for pedestrians" sign below it.

Alte Kalchbühlstrasse in Zürich: a narrow street with three-story buildings on its left. The buildings are brick-yellow and have windowed balconies protruding from the façade.

I kind of like the verandas/windowed balconies!

Two metallic poles, in between which a yellow sunflower appears

Oh look, a sunflower.
