Althoossteig

Althoossteig goes from Wehntalerstrasse to Käferholzstrasse. It is named after the location name "Althusen" - "old houses", which was mentioned for the area already in 1415 (so... super old houses, I guess?).

Althoossteig in Zürich: a narrow street, going down, with 3-storey buildings on each side and cars parked on blue parking spots. A red "no entry" sign indicates that the street is going one-way.

Eriocapitella hupehensis: pale pink flowers with five large sepals and yellow/orange stamens. There are two flower blooms, surrounded by multiple round seedheads in dark purple sheaths. he flowers are near a concrete border and an asphalt road blurred in the background.

Japanese anemones

Althoossteig in Zürich: a narrow residential street with a lot of greenery visible, a "Zone 30" sign painted on the street, an a couple of cars parked. In the background of the picture, there is a more imposing building with a spired tower and timber framing, making the corner of the street.
