Altstetterstrasse

Altstetterstrasse goes from Altstetterplatz to Albisriederstrasse. It is named after the Altstetten district (where it is), which was an independent municipality before its integration in Zürich in 1934.

A two-way street with 4-story buildings, cars parked on parking spots on the sidewalk, and trees planted along the road.

Catalpa tree: above a street with a zebra crossing, a tree, planted on the sidewalk, grows a canopy over the road. Long "beanpods" are hanging from the tree.

Catalpa tree. The picture doesn't do justice to the magnificence of that tree.

A three-lane, two-way street with 3-4-storey residential buildings with storefronts on the ground floors, a few cars on the street, and the Uetliberg forest hill in the background.
