Apollostrasse

Apollostrasse goes from Forchstrasse to Minervastrasse. It is named after the Greek god Apollo; Greek mythology is a naming theme in the vicinity.

Translates as "Built in 1913 by Max Josef Wörtmann for the entrepreneur J. Pfenninger as a part of an apartment building row on Apollostrasse. The alcohol-free restaurant on the ground floor was transformed in 1918 to shops. The facades of the three-part house groups are design with protrusions, hollow spaces, and Heimatstil ornaments; an oriel window emphasizes the corner of Number 8. Under monument protection since 2013."
