Bonus: a pretty stink bug

Occasionally, I run into things that don't fit a specific street. The other day, it was an air show; yesterday, it's a pretty stink bug.

One surprising side effect of this project is that I find myself trying to identify what I see as much as I can - plants, statues, and, well, bugs. This one stopped me on my tracks because it was golden/visible enough that I first thought that someone had lost jewelry in the middle of the blackberry brambles!

But no, it's just a fairly regular southern green stink bug, that just happens to be (I think) in its fourth instar phase. (So I also learnt new things about bugs). So here, get bug pictures (CW bug and decaying fruit).
